sunrise over the lake was gorgeous
we drove up from Brisbane and got to unwind in the hot tub, which was a nice break.
The house is nicely furnished and everything we needed was provided, including a hearty breakfast with plenty of jams and toast toppings – we were really happy with that.
The beach and shops are a short drive away.

Absolutely wonderful stay – everything was spot on.

Eggs and a cup of tea always work well when you need to head to the next stop. A lovely, calming stay in a beautiful setting. The bully ants in the bathroom were a worry.

The spot is really peaceful – we drove up from Brisbane and got to unwind in the hot tub, which was a nice break. The rain was a bit of a downer, but that’s out of the owners’ hands. I wish we could have taken a stroll around the lake, though.
