I hadn’t stayed in a place like this in about 23 years, but for a business hotel the front‑office‑centric services—like using the microwave—being handled in the room is a real advantage. I was disappointed that the front‑desk staff were absent when I arrived much earlier than scheduled, and I was upset that there was no karaoke available. After flushing the toilet, the water supply sometimes wouldn’t stop, which was unfortunate. The lack of outside light was frustrating, and the lights didn’t turn off completely at night, which left me disappointed. The path from the parking lot to the entrance was unclear, another letdown. The TV content and services (excluding meals) were thin, which was also disappointing. When I left, the TV I had turned off was still on—what’s going on?

The rural inn had a nostalgic vibe, a bit old‑fashioned but well kept by the host, who offered welcome drinks and breakfast—nothing to criticize. The air‑purifier was a little loud.

During the Akita Kanto Festival, the hotel was pricey, so I chose to stay elsewhere in another prefecture, which worked out fine. If you drive, this place is very convenient.
