The building itself was incredible, and Lisa at the front desk was incredibly helpful. The only downside was that there was no breakfast offered.

The location was excellent, the place was very quiet, and everything was clean.

“Ganz ok”

Check‑in was straightforward, the room was fine, and they offered tea and cake, which was nice. However, the surroundings were very loud, and parties went on until 3:00 am.

“Séjour agréable dans un cadre historique et reposant.”

The spot was perfect for enjoying San Miniato’s historic city. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it wasn’t too hot even though the outside temperatures were high. The breakfast hours didn’t fit my schedule, but otherwise there was nothing special.

The building is definitely impressive, the location is outstanding, the cleanliness is good, and the bar is linked for the next day’s breakfast. Self‑check‑in is well organised, and there’s a shared kitchen area. Because the hotel hosts pilgrims from the Via Francigena (like us), the option to have breakfast at a partner bar that opens at 7:30 is far too late for the summer season when we start walking at 5:30! On top of that, the vending machines inside the property with coffee and snacks were not working, and the rooms were absolutely too hot!
