“I recommend”
The owner is very chill. The guesthouse isn’t a commercial one; it actually feels like home. We felt more like staying in an Airbnb than a guesthouse.
“最高でした!また泊まりたいです!”
The location was excellent and the view was enjoyable. As a stay in Kusatsu, Japan’s top hot‑spring destination, it delivered the best performance! We brought family this time, and I definitely want to return.
“うーん微妙”
The hotel was close to the center of Kusatsu, making it easy to visit many spots, and the room was fairly quiet with a working air conditioner that made it comfortable. However, I found dust mites in the futon—four or five bites appeared after I returned home. The kitchen area had a strong odor, and although I told the staff to keep the noise down at night, they continued chatting loudly among themselves.
“さいこう”
The owner and everyone else were kind, and we had a warm conversation together at night.
I loved how close the place was to everything and how welcoming the host was.
