All the necessary appliances were available, and the air conditioning was excellent. I couldn’t pay with my card.

The location was great, but the listing said “entire apartment” while it was actually just a single room that was partially isolated but still attached to the house, so it should have been advertised as a room. Even though my flight was delayed and I arrived after 17:00, the room wasn’t ready, and after they hurriedly cleaned it, the place was infested with mosquitoes—I had to buy bug spray to sleep. During the stay, at least two dead cockroaches and spiders (webs in various corners) appeared. Because it wasn’t an entire apartment, another likely guest was doing what I think were live streams at various times of the day, and the sound insulation was terrible. On the last night, a strong incense smell lingered, and even closing the doors that lead to the hallway didn’t help.

The host was friendly and the place sits in a great spot, but the payment system is a hassle: they say they accept Visa or Mastercard but only take cash.

There’s a small garden and a shop next door, and Enmanuel is ready to help with anything, but the traffic noise is a bit loud, which is normal in Asunción.
