The décor stayed true to its Castle name, the food was great, and the staff, including the owners, were friendly. The rooms had a bathroom, which added a bit of comfort, and the beds were large and comfortable, with TV and Wi‑Fi in each room. I recommend it for a perfect break.

The place was interesting with many old items. My bill for the room was higher than what was listed on the booking site. The hotel sits next to a road, my room faced the street, and the traffic noise and passing pedestrians could be heard.

A charming house with great hosts. The food was delicious, and I was well advised despite an allergy.

Breakfast was superb, the room was clean and spacious. TV reception was very bad, and the TV was in the bedroom, which isn’t ideal when reception is poor. The parking fee was high, especially since the car was only on the grass. The bathroom lacked storage, and there was no drying rack for wet towels.
