Casa da Vala in Praia de Mira offers family rooms with private bathrooms, balconies and terraces, each equipped with a tea‑coffee maker, refrigerator, TV and wardrobe. A shared kitchenette provides a dining area, microwave, toaster and full kitchenware. Guests enjoy quiet street views, a 9‑minute walk to Mira Beach, and easy access to nearby attractions such as the University of Aveiro and Barra Lighthouse.

The value for money was very good. It was hard to find from the street, and the bed covers were a bit dirty.

The room met expectations: the bed was relatively comfortable, the bathroom was full‑faced, overall a good experience. The balcony was a big plus. The check‑in process wasn’t the easiest, but thanks to the cleaning staff I was able to access the room.

The surroundings are great and everything is within walking distance. The beds were comfortable, but the room had a slightly musty smell that could have been improved with better ventilation beforehand. The room was very small, so when going to the bathroom at night you have to be careful in the dark or you might bump into something. It was very loud at night, especially outside with extremely long periods of loud music. The balcony isn’t really a balcony – you can only hang laundry, nothing else.
