B Center charming room on the canal

I love how close it is to the city center and the owner was really nice!

The place is great, everything is within walking distance—metro, shops, sights—and it’s a quiet spot on the island.

The room, the apartment overall, the cleanliness, the welcome, the fact that there was a coffee machine and a kettle, the hosts are wonderful, friendly, and caring, and the location is excellent!

The location was pretty good, close to the center. I didn’t realize it was a shared bathroom—this was poorly indicated! The walls were also quite thin. Someone next to us had their alarm on early in the morning and was standing under the shower, so you could hear them well and even listen to all the conversations. The room also smelled really bad.

“Good location. Communication from host was excessive and hard to relax”

The location was good. Our Eurostar was delayed by 75 minutes due to a breakdown, so we let the host know as soon as we learned, about two hours before arrival, sent the live Eurostar info, and offered to wait until a convenient time for the co‑host. Still, we received many messages about our changing arrival time. The house rules were extensive, including no showers after 11 pm and instructions on bathroom use. We tried to follow the rule to remove hair from the shower, even though the hair we removed was already there and not mine. The toilet in the shower room was also marked “out of order”. The level of rules and communication made it hard to relax. We were asked to leave a 10/10 review. After writing an independent 6/10 review, before finishing my written review, I got an unkind message from the host and had to block further contact.
