“Un endroit merveilleux”

Mary welcomed us like family, the place was wonderful with birds singing and a relaxing, romantic nature setting. The breakfast was huge, homemade, and Mary was a remarkable host—we’ll definitely return! Nothing negative.

“Top rate in every way”

We arrived late Friday night and Mary greeted us, showed us our room, and shared local tips. The room was a good size with a decent double and single bed, kettle, tea and coffee cups, and a water bottle each. The bathroom was huge with a powerful hot shower, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The countryside setting was very restful, and Athy is less than 10 minutes away with many restaurants and entertainment options. We stayed overnight before an event in Carlow, which was convenient. Breakfast was tasty with porridge, cooked breakfasts, toast, cereals, drinks, and eggs. The dining room was bright and spacious. Mary was conversational and very pleasant. Late breakfast and checkout were additional perks of excellent service and accommodation. Absolutely nothing negative; I feel bad they don’t charge more for what they offer. We’ll come back.
