“We will be back to the facility for the purposes of camping. A lovely campsite with a sad motel.”
I booked a kitchenette unit that had a heater, an air conditioner, and two queen‑size beds. The heater worked but barely enough to warm the room; even under the covers it felt a bit chilly, which isn’t ideal for someone who prefers cooler sleep. The beds were awkwardly positioned: the one nearest the heater and AC was hard to reach, and navigating around the equipment at night felt like a nightmare. The second bed, closer to the bathroom, was a tight squeeze but manageable. My husband and I ended up rolling toward the center of the mattress because it was worn; a new mattress would have fixed the issue. The suite was designed for double beds, not two queens, so if you’re traveling with kids, consider bunk beds. The park should be a kids’ paradise in summer, but the layout made it tough to sleep well.
