The location and value for money are solid, but maintenance is lacking and could use some more work.

We booked the Sara Beach House for two rooms with AC and attached bathrooms, paying an advance of Rs 3028 to Nilakanta Padhi, who sent us the bank details. When we arrived on 26 June, the rooms were tiny, only one AC worked, and there were no attached baths—just one shared bathroom. Uncomfortable, we left immediately and asked when our advance would be refunded. He said Mr Padhi would return it, but he still hasn’t. Calls to him go unanswered, so I’m hoping for guidance on how to recover my money.
