Warm Yes Hotel

It was my first visit to Guangzhou, and the location was perfect: the metro station is literally 50 meters away, giving easy access to the whole city. We could have taken the train from the airport, but we opted for a taxi. Canton Tower is only a few stations away. I have no real complaints about the hotel; speaking English with the staff was a bit tough, but the Google Translate app fixed that.

The staff were courteous, but the underground lobby didn’t have a restroom, forcing me to run to the nearby emergency‑room hospital; the lobby only lets you climb a short flight of stairs before you can catch the lift to the rooms, which is a real hassle for older guests; inside the room the pillowcases and towels were stained, and the bathroom offered no place to put any clothing.
