I was told the hostel had moved out of Poblado on August 1, yet I still managed to book and ended up missing my flight.

The spot couldn't be better – right in the middle of everything you need. Everything was within walking distance and I never had to hunt for a restaurant or transport.

The place sits in a decent area, but the rooms were a nightmare – it felt like an oven even with the fan on, and the street noise seeped right in, so bring earplugs. The staff seemed more like volunteers; they didn’t know the door code and kept forgetting simple requests.
