The place is well located, offers good value and is comfortable, but the coffee station had beans but no grinder.

I liked the quiet spot, especially compared to the noisy town‑centre stays of my group; I only used the kitchen to refill water, yet it was larger and nicer than I expected for the price.

The room was small but spotless with a comfy bed; there were two clean showers, and the kitchen was well equipped, welcoming, and had plenty of space to cook and eat, plus a TV and nearby shops—ideal for an overnight stay with parking on the front drive. The only downside was the entry: a message after we were on the road caused confusion about access and the front door was hard to open at first, but a call to the host resolved it quickly and he was very helpful.
