I appreciated the privacy of the pool area with a door that let me stay calm with my dog, the parking was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed.

The peace and quiet were great, but the descriptions didn't mention that you had to leave the house to reach the pool, and the barbecue terrace was covered in spider webs (not just one day) and was unpleasant to use.

We spent five days there with my husband and son, looking for a quiet spot and it was indeed peaceful—a real dream setting. The house was flawless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool was wonderful and well‑served; everything was spotless and orderly, and the views made for perfect walks. We’ll definitely go back, although the double bed was noticeably saggy.

The interior of the house feels very cozy, with plenty of appliances. It would have helped if the ground floor had air conditioning, but the cleaning lady brought us batteries for the AC remote when it wasn’t working, and also left us a bug spray; without those two things we couldn’t have stayed. If you like peace and quiet, you won’t run into anyone. The area feels very isolated; if you run out of water or anything, there’s nothing nearby for 5 minutes, so you’d have to go to Santa Lucía or back to Vecindario. The solarium next to the pool is across a small street, and although they told us the pool would be cleaned at 9 am, the first night it didn’t seem that way: the pool had many bugs and I even had to clean up cat poop. They left a net there and I had to clean the pool at noon, still a lot of bugs. Then the upper floor of the house had no air conditioning and was suffocating, plus a stove. Later, we dealt with gnats that entered through cracks in the patio door and entrance; after we put a product and toilet paper in the cracks, we stopped them a bit. I’m not from the countryside, and that might affect my rating, but I won’t share it.
