“A lovely, welcoming family-run hotel with fantastic staff who really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.”

We stayed at Hotel Laman and it was a genuinely pleasant experience. The family‑run operation meant the staff were consistently excellent, especially the man who was around most of the time and always ready with coffee, parking help, or whatever else we asked for; he was also very friendly with the kids, making us feel right at home. Our room was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for the whole family. The only drawback was that the rooms lack cooking facilities, only a fridge is provided. Breakfast is served, but lunch and dinner are not offered, which limited our options; however, the staff were happy to arrange take‑out orders, which was a nice gesture. Overall, it’s a welcoming place with staff who genuinely want to make your stay good. I’d gladly recommend it, though the lack of on‑site meals means you’ll need to eat out every day.

“Excellent stay with comfortable rooms, amazing staff and wonderful breakfast.”

The property is excellent, George is so lovely, and the rooms are gorgeous; the value for money is great and the breakfast is wonderful, with tomatoes even from George’s grandfather’s farm. Everyone was kind and lovely, the breakfast staff were amazing and kind, and Ola went above and beyond to help us with exceptional service. There wasn’t much to complain about.

The host was very kind, the location was close to Himarae town, and the bed was comfortable. The road noise was a nuisance, and the nearby beach is a private one.

The room was lovely with its own balcony, the pool was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly even at the end of the season. A few days after we left the hotel closed until the next season in March. The continental breakfast was also good.
