The village is beautiful and picturesque, and it was recently renovated, but even though the property advertises a car charger, the charger is actually in the parking lot and you have to be lucky that nobody else uses it.

The place was quiet, right in town and on the Strada Alta hiking trail. Breakfast was straightforward, and I could ask for gluten‑free options if needed. The rooms had been freshly renovated, with a natural look full of wood and a modern bathroom. In the lobby there was a self‑serve tea and coffee station, slippers were provided, and so on.

I stayed here while on a multi‑day hike. The accommodation and rooms were brand new. My room felt more like a private bedroom than a typical hotel room, with plenty of wood that made it feel different and very nice. The furnishings were simple yet good quality. The check‑in was entirely digital and worked flawlessly. For example, I received Wi‑Fi information beforehand and could finish the check‑in at the seating area in front of the hotel, where the Wi‑Fi was already active. That impressed me because I had saved on mobile data in Switzerland.

Breakfast was self‑served starting at 6:30, offering eggs and muesli. I would have liked a wider selection of breads, such as rye, nut, or seed bread, instead of just white bread and Zopf, to better match my taste.

Staying in the tiny village of Osco felt like a breath of fresh mountain air. The room was spotless and laid‑back, giving a real sense of calm. The only downside was the lack of fans – it got a bit warm at night.
