Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Vancouver Airport

The rooms are pretty nice, comfortable, and clean, and finally a proper shower instead of a bathtub with a curtain. The staff were very welcoming and kind, and the ability to check‑in late at night is great given the 5 km distance from the airport. The room price felt a bit high, but we booked on a Saturday evening, which probably pushed it up. The quality gap compared to a slightly lower‑cost chain isn’t huge, but the price difference is noticeable.

The recently refurbished hotel has very clean rooms. The location is inconvenient because there’s no airport shuttle.

“The renos are beautiful but check in very slow”

The hotel is very clean, has plenty of parking, and sits in a safe area. The breakfast, however, was underwhelming—just croissants and yogurt, not enough for the crowds. The single coffee machine was out of service for all three days, constantly running out of supplies.

“Fantastic value for a weekend trip to Vancouver!”

The renovations were great; the rooms are spacious with comfortable new beds and offer beautiful mountain views and planes flying overhead. The morning coffee line was a bit annoying—another machine would help. Cleanliness was good, though I noticed some leftover trash from the previous guest in my bin.

“Enjoyed our stay and will return again”

Overall, a very nice hotel. The newer rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom layout and overall room design were well thought out. The location off the highway and close to the city is excellent. Breakfast left something to be desired: no pastries on the first day and the coffee machine was broken on the second. The restaurant still seems under construction, so hopefully it improves next time.
