“Ok für stop-over”
The place was solid and quiet, even though it sits on the main street. The staircase was steep and the bathroom/WC was tiny.
“Hätten wir länger dort Urlaub gemacht als eine Nacht, wären wir abgereist”
Honestly, nothing. The hotel is extremely old and run down. The floorboards creak throughout the building so much that you can’t sleep at night. The room furnishings are very old. The worst part was the bathroom, if you can even call it that. On a maximum of 3 m² there’s a toilet, a sink with cracks, and a shower that’s unusable because it’s slanted; you can only shower bent over and there are no hooks or bars to hang towels. We had to hang our wet towels over the door handle. The windows couldn’t be darkened, so we got full street lighting and daylight at night.
Breakfast is no longer offered in the hotel; guests are directed to a bakery for discounted food. The double bed was clean and you could sleep in it. The staff were somewhat friendly at the welcome. There isn’t a real reception area, just a room with a sign that says “Private.” When we knocked to ask questions, they pointed out unfriendlily that it was private. The TV was broken and wasn’t repaired after two days. There was mold in the bathroom, making it unbearable to shower; all the silicone joints were moldy. The price is more than three times what I think it should be. Not recommended for a longer stay.
The location was convenient, right near the local golf club. The stairs were far too steep, and my room was scorching hot.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the cats were genuinely nice.
