The hotel sits near other attractions and restaurants, a bit off the beaten path but still convenient; it’s definitely not near SeaWorld as advertised. The room wasn’t cleaned when I arrived, and a towel from the previous guest, still with curly hair, was left in the bathroom. The AC leaked onto the floor, and the king room had no sofa—who ever puts a sofa in a king room? The restroom drains didn’t work, filling the sink and tub for about 10 minutes before they finally cleared. I called the front desk, but they did nothing but hand me some towels and tell me to move rooms after we’d already unpacked and were heading to a family event; we didn’t return until much later that evening. The rooms were absolutely disgusting, and the food was served cold, a clear health code violation.
It was a pleasant stay; we enjoyed visiting San Antonio, the breakfast was pretty decent, and both the room and the facilities were clean.
