“Leider sehr enttäuschend”

The beds were comfortable, but the overall experience was the worst we had in Vietnam. The caravan met expectations, though there was no soap, the sink was clean, and the beds were comfy, only a small curtain by the toilet. We booked one night and, after the jungle tour, asked about the price of $100 per person, which felt too high. Vu offered a lower rate, but it still exceeded our budget and he stressed he wouldn’t profit at all, which wasn’t what we wanted. He kept pressuring us, asking five times if we’d join, even though we had already said no after the first price. Because the location was remote, we booked breakfast through the platform and set a time with him the day before. That morning he wasn’t there, didn’t message us, and gave no reason. After I reached out, he replied 30 minutes after the agreed time telling us to make our own breakfast and that eggs were in the fridge, so we left immediately.

The host is super friendly and eager to help with everything! Everything about the place and the jungle tour was fantastic.

The owner was very helpful when we rented a motorcycle; it was empty when we arrived. The location was really wrong and needs updating. The AC and fan didn’t work properly, so I couldn’t sleep because of the heat. Naturally, there were a lot of insects in the natural setting, but there’s probably nothing that can be done about that.

“Average”

It’s cheap and good value. We felt constantly being sold something—beers, the jungle tour, the BBQ— the host was always pushing sales. Initially it seemed the beers/BBQ were free until checkout, so a clearer sign with prices would help. The jungle tour was okay but pricey. On the way back the host got into a fight with a group of locals on the street heading to the campsite, fled the car, left his keys, and left us with an angry mob. I didn’t feel safe and the host never apologized; honestly I’d expect a refund because it ruined our stay. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but that’s expected for a campsite. Be prepared to be in nature.
