Breakfast was mediocre. The location was mediocre. The bathroom was especially bad; we couldn’t wash, brush our teeth, or shave. The sink drain was completely clogged. The coffee maker was broken. The fridge was mediocre.

Nice location, reception and welcome, ability to eat and drink, parking in front of the door. The room was very dark and noisy, especially the banging of other room doors was very loud. Also the sound from the TV and the conversation from the room next to mine.

The location was great, but the amenities were very basic.

The location was the reason we chose Bastion Heerlen, yet the middle door or fire door in the hallway kept slamming shut. There were no towels in my room, the room was not clean—trash was behind the bin and shampoo from the previous guest was still in the shower. The door to the toilet/shower made a lot of noise when opening and closing. The EV charging point seemed to work, but nothing charged in the morning, not even the car parked next to ours.
