We spent a truly amazing and romantic island getaway here. The place is quiet, perfect for couples and honeymooners, though a bit more music and evening entertainment would have made it even better. We went all‑inclusive and loved the food variety—European, Asian, Maldivian, and Indian options were all available. There are three dining spots: the main buffet, a grill restaurant, and a bar. A typical day for us was breakfast at the buffet, lunch at the bar with cocktails and snacks, then dinner at the grill in a romantic setting. Our beach room was cozy, with a lovely veranda just 5 metres from the beach and a hammock. The cleaning crew came twice a day, made beautiful towel sculptures, and was always friendly. The beach itself is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen: turquoise, crystal‑clear water, white sand, and free diving masks let you explore the underwater world; you can see plenty of marine life just 5 metres from shore. Swimming felt safe thanks to a lifeguard and was allowed until 6 PM. Weather in the Maldives can be unpredictable, with rain showers usually lasting less than an hour—essentially a coin toss, you just have to be lucky. The airport transfer was smooth: a 45‑minute boat ride, well‑organized pick‑up and drop‑off, and we arrived at the airport about 2.5 hours before our flight, plenty of time. One small downside was an unexpected government tourist tax of $12 per person per night that wasn’t mentioned at check‑in, only at the end of our stay.
