The staff, especially owner Jérôme and the chef in the evenings, were great, the parking was monitored, the air‑conditioning worked, and the hot water—don’t laugh, hot water is a precious commodity in Mayotte—was excellent. The place was spotless, and the coffee machine supplied two pods a day. The Wi‑Fi was unreliable and not very stable, and the price‑quality ratio felt steep; the scarcity of hotels in the area pushes prices up. Drinks like the rhum arrangé cost around €10. The proximity to mosques caused a ringing effect, even with ear‑plugs, and the walls were thin. The bedside lamp lacked light, and there was no outlet on the left side if you plug in the fridge; bring an extension cord.

“Personnels très agréable !”

The room was very beautiful and quiet, but it was poorly sound‑proofed, and there was no small curtain over the front door to block hallway light.
