Cuevas La Chumbera

“A great cave house experience”

It was a different experience staying in a cave with home comforts. Parking was easy and the owner was very helpful with recommendations for local restaurants, etc., and the pool area was wonderful. Nothing negative.

“Una experiencia para repetir pronto”

The facilities are amazing, a worthwhile experience. The staff were excellent, especially Gonzalo who attended us. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dinner; there was an option to barbecue. Parking was available. The cave had all the amenities (equipped kitchen, fridge with freezer, full bathroom, washing machine…). The cleanliness was 10. Pets are allowed with an extra fee. There is nothing negative about this place.

Very kind and responsive hosts. A magical place, in the mountains—quiet, amazingly beautiful. Spacious rooms, a good fridge. A big, clean, beautiful pool with varying depth and clear water. Everything is very clean and pleasant overall, and the pool is surrounded by lush greenery and trees. We will definitely come back. Nothing else.

Exceptional and unique place, truly special, private terrace with beautiful view, close to the village, safe fenced area, good shower, geothermal space, even wood for fireplace (not used in May), good bed—a place to recommend! A bit dark, but that’s part of the cave concept, so no drawback. Small note: a separate main pillow worked better for us than a large, long pillow.
