“Dla samego widoku ok, ale nie wróciłabym do tego hotelu.”

The biggest plus of this hotel was the view from the window and the large, spacious room. There is no air conditioning, the bathroom window has a mesh screen that cannot be closed and the mesh was holey. Breakfast was sparse: egg, toast, jam and banana.

“Ella views”

Clean room. Hot showers. Very tasty breakfast offered. Great view over Ella Rock. Host was very kind and attentive. There is a steep hill to climb coming and going from the hotel. Cars and vans cannot use the road due to this reason, so luggage is transferred via a Tuk-Tuk the hotel owns. This is not a criticism of the hotel but something people need to be aware of

“Please don't do this to yourself”

I was shocked by how bad this place turned out to be. The bathroom door was always stuck, making it a nightmare to open. The sheets were filthy, there was mold in the bathroom, and the window net was uneven so bugs kept crawling in. Because there was no shower cabin, every shower flooded the whole room, including the toilet. Privacy was nonexistent; the big un-tinted windows let anyone see in, and the soundproofing was zero—someone on the phone woke us up at 3 am. The worst moment was on check‑out at 10 am when the housemaid walked straight into our room at 9 am, turned off the lights, and started rearranging things. She had been nice and sweet (borderline fake) all day, but when we paid the exact amount listed on booking, she turned the plate and left without looking at us. We tried to find positives, but with so many problems, we can’t recommend this place. There are better, cheaper options in Ella.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was tasty, the view was extraordinary, and the location was very central to the city—overall a wonderful stay! Will definitely come back anytime!!!

“Lovely peaceful stay with excellent views.”

The view is amazing and the property sits in a quiet area away from town centre. The lady running the home stay was very nice and helpful. The only downside is the steep hill you have to climb down or up from the road—though that’s part of what gives the view!
