Schlosshotel Kassel

The location is very nice; we dined at the hotel in the evening. Both the evening buffet and the breakfast buffet were varied and good.

The breakfast, dinner, and the buffet evenings were excellent. Except for the gym and the pool, everything was textile‑free, which guests should be aware of. The staff were very friendly and the stay was overall wonderful, I’d return.

“Nice room, but very uncomfortable bed and pillows.”

The location is very nice. We received a free upgrade to a room with a living area, giving us plenty of space. Breakfast was fine with enough choices. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. The bed was extremely soft and the pillows even softer; I took an extra pillow but it didn’t help. I’ve never had such soft pillows before. The shower was very small. Breakfast was advertised as wonderful, but it was just normal—good but nothing special. Parking was very small and crowded, even though we were there on a Tuesday night.

“Empfehlenswert”

The view toward Kassel was fantastic. Shower problems were fixed very quickly! The restaurant service was very good and friendly, and they always met our wishes (we were a group with different needs). The shower cabin was leaking, so the bathroom flooded quickly, but that was fixed immediately!!! When it rained, waiting for the “Shaddelbus” and getting on and off was a fairly wet experience! (Suggestion: a small glass shelter!)

“A wonderful, peaceful stay—I enjoyed everything and would happily return.”

I was thrilled with every aspect of the hotel—the calm vibe, the gorgeous surroundings, and the top‑class service. The receptionist who helped me check out on 17 September was especially kind, friendly, and professional. Nothing was lacking; everything was perfect.
