“A bit overpriced, but okay for a short stay.”

The place was in a great spot, right next to everything, which is perfect for tourists, and the staff were friendly enough to let us stash our luggage after we checked out. The downside was that the bed only had a sheet, no blanket, so we had to ask the front desk for one.

“Maravilhoso.”

I liked the location, the shower, the room space, and the breakfast. I was very wary when I booked and received a link on a platform for pre‑payment of the stay; if I didn’t pay within two days before check‑in, the reservation would be cancelled. I was concerned about scams, because scammers hack hotel accounts and run this scheme, a story that has been on Brazilian TV news. Since America “Latrina” is generally a hotspot for scammers, it was suspicious. Thankfully everything worked out, but I don’t recommend the hotel keep this practice. If pre‑payment is required, it should be done through the platform.
