The room was nice with a good bed. The restaurant is tasty. The location is on the road to the Great St Bernard Pass, a good starting point for a cycling climb. I wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests; the facilities were fine, but if I’d known, I probably would have booked elsewhere.

“Prima Unterkunft für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise”

The place has a nostalgic vibe and is lovingly decorated. The rooms are brand‑new and tastefully done. Not a five‑star hotel, but it hit the sweet spot for us. We stayed one night, felt really comfortable, and the restaurant food was tasty; the owners were super friendly.

Even though I was the only guest at breakfast, the spread was surprisingly varied and tasty. Staff greeted me warmly and answered every question I had, and the price felt reasonable for Switzerland.

The building itself looked fine, but the constant highway roar made it impossible to sleep—even earplugs didn't help. When it got warm, the flat turned into a sauna.
