The location was fine, but the bathroom cleanliness was poor, the bed was uncomfortable, I couldn’t adjust the AC temperature, and the towels were dirty.

The value for money was really bad. I paid €72 for a room that, in my opinion, does not match the price. The front door of the room was broken and difficult to open and close. The bathroom door was also broken, wouldn’t close, and had a clear hole on the front. The bathroom lacked a bidet and the shower was disappointing. The sheets provided were stained. Noise made the stay even less pleasant: the bathroom cabinet was extremely loud, disturbing even at night. The old windows didn’t provide adequate soundproofing, which was especially problematic given the room’s location. Around 3:30 am you could clearly hear people talking loudly on the lower floor, plus the staff noise during cleaning. If I had paid much less, I might have overlooked some of these issues, but for €72 I expected a higher level of quality and comfort. In other B&Bs, paying even less, I found much more “glamour” and better conditions. Overall it was a disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place and will certainly not return.

There was nothing positive. The “Etnea Glamour House” has a fundamental problem: the word glamour. You enter through a courtyard with trash bags, climb dirty, poorly lit condominium stairs and are greeted by a switch taped with duct tape. First taste of elegance. Inside, there’s a smell of smoke and bleach, a worn sofa, and a common area that looks like someone’s kitchen. The room, however, tops everything: a very low bed with uninviting fabric, a warped mattress, a noisy frame, and torn sheets. A simple IKEA bed would have made the room more presentable. The bathroom is neglected: a dirty mirror, a yellowed shower tray, half glass and half curtain, outlets partially separated from the wall, and a toilet/bidet that continues to make a loud water‑dripping sound after flushing. It’s tucked into a wardrobe space. Sleeping? Impossible. Music until 2 am, voices until 4 am, street traffic and noises from neighboring rooms. I barely slept. With about 40 °C outside, the blanket on the bed was the cherry on top. The location is presented somewhat optimistically: Villa Bellini is not exactly around the corner and the return is uphill (25 min). Walking to the center takes an hour. The discounted price paid was €76. For the conditions, cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort, it’s definitely too much. More than Etnea Glamour House, I’d say Etnea “Glamour” House, with the quotes mandatory.

The reception lady was very polite, but the rooms are not like they look in the photos.

The door frame was broken and a beam fell once; it needs fixing, and they forgot to give me a second roll of toilet paper – the first was nearly finished, so I had to buy my own.
