The accommodation is in an absolutely great location for day trips around the area; everything is close (30 min drive to both Little and Big Fatra, as well as to Zuberec and Roháče), and the beautiful Oravský hrad is a 5‑minute walk. The apartment also has a mini‑kitchen, but you should expect that it’s not suitable for large cooking. There is a kitchen in the common room and we also appreciate the ample parking. If we had to point out something, it would be one point down for the continuous and fairly strong odor from the bathroom waste and another for insufficient lighting in the rooms. In one of the rooms, one light didn’t work, but even in fog or mist there would still be too little light if it were on.

A pleasant and quiet guesthouse right under Orava Castle. We felt at home.
