Despite the receptionist’s assurances, there was no Wi‑Fi in the room, and the train line right outside the window was so close that I couldn’t hear the TV when a train passed by with the window tilted.

The room was just okay and did its job, but the building felt a bit odd, offering no extra services beyond the room itself, and trains ran past the window every 15 minutes—well, that’s the reality.

“Gut, wenn man unbedingt in dieser Gegend sein möchte.”

Everything was very tidy and the breakfast was good, yet the only rooms face the street with loud car and train traffic, and the place feels quite sterile because it’s a Sparkasse conference hotel; you have to eat breakfast in a mostly empty cafeteria at that hour, and on weekends you can’t have breakfast at all.
