The old cottages were charming, with wooden floors and a retro‑chic vibe from the colors, prints, and lighting. They were affordable, pet friendly and in a good spot, and the AC managed the heat fairly well, though it struggled on a hot day and left the room chilly by morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and several restaurants were within walking distance. We received free muffins, water and coffee. The place looked clean overall, but a few issues stood out: the window AC unit needed both inside and outside cleaning, the area above the bathroom mirror required a dusting, and there was splatter on the wall under the dining table that I didn’t check for removal. The bath towel had a slight wet‑washer smell, but everything else was lovely.
