The hotel sits nicely in northern Angouleme, close to RN 10 and all shops. The facilities are basic but functional, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was full‑fledged. For comparison, the KYRIAD hotel in Angouleme‑Nord, 1 km away and also familiar to us, is noticeably better but also much pricier. The room was a bit small, and my bed creaked whenever I moved at night. There’s no elevator, but the building only has two floors.

The hotel is close to a restaurant. The building feels old and the shower is tiny.
