Hampton Inn Bowie

There was a sewage smell when I arrived, and the check‑in host kindly explained that they share a sewage system with nearby businesses and that the smell can be a problem.

“A Hampton Inn at that low rate is just that.”

The check‑in staff were professional and friendly, and the room itself was clean and nice, but the flimsy walls made it impossible to rest; the staff kept cleaning with bleach‑scented wipes, which was helpful but didn’t mask the dilapidated building, and the breakfast was as expected except for a distinct raw sewage smell at the coffee station, and the building was already worn out with no insulation between rooms—ear plugs were a must.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly, missing towels and sometimes not cleaned at all, and overall the cleaning was not done.

“Molto piacevole”

The spot was super convenient for everything I needed to do, but the air‑conditioner was a ball and the heating never kicked in.

“We made a family trip to the area and booked 6 rooms. We will never stay at this facility again.”

I’d stayed here before and liked the location, yet the pool was shut off, the whole building reeked, and the staff kept spraying and cleaning in an attempt to hide the smell.
