“Parfait! On vous recommande!”

The staff went above and beyond, and the breakfast spread was impressive, especially the soup and omelette service; the surroundings were stunning. On the downside, the room didn’t block out noise from loud neighbors, and the bathroom’s upkeep could use some work, but the staff’s friendliness made those flaws easy to overlook. The price felt a touch high compared to what was offered, and we couldn’t find a better benchmark.

The staff were very attentive, the breakfast was good, and the other guests were pleasant; the tours were well arranged, with highlights like an elephant sanctuary, several beautiful temples, and the night market.

Situated beside the Nam Khan River, the property feels like a dream with spacious rooms, a pool and a wonderful garden for dinner with views across the bay, and although we booked knowing it was a half‑hour walk or a 10‑minute drive from the old town – the only downside – it didn’t bother us; we’d definitely book again, walking or taking a LOCA depending on how rushed we were.

We were lucky to be upgraded to a room with a private pool – thank you for that – the garden is beautiful and the bedding is superb; there were no complaints.
