The place is great – not the cheapest, but the experience justifies the price and the staff were very attentive, especially since they knew it was my birthday, so overall they delivered what they promised. However, the pool‑side restaurant staff were quite slow taking orders; I understand dishes are prepared fresh, but a quicker, more responsive service and better knowledge of the menu would improve things, especially given the high prices.

The hotel is impressive, offering plenty of activities for a full weekend stay. Charging guests to use the spa feels out of place since the rooms themselves aren’t cheap.
