The place was clean and well‑equipped, but the room had no window.

I stayed in a women‑only room and there was only one other guest, which was fine. The dining area was too small and full, so I couldn’t use it.

Everything you could possibly need is available here, and you can even upgrade to a private room if you wish. Nothing is hidden; they did a good job.

The staff were lovely, the place was clean and had an authentic old‑Japanese‑house vibe. Guests could use a fridge and microwave, which was great! I was initially worried about the number of restrooms versus beds, but I never had to wait for a shower, so it all worked out smoothly. The price was affordable and the location was excellent, making it a perfect pick for budget travelers. I’d definitely come back if I visit Osaka again! The only downside was the lower bunk’s limited space; as a 168 cm tall woman I couldn’t lie flat without hitting my head, though it was otherwise comfortable. Another issue was that the AC in the bedroom was off from morning to evening, which I understand when the room is empty, but on a day I was exhausted and stayed inside, the room temperature was a bit of a challenge.
