Everything was perfect, and there is nothing to dislike.

You can get a late check‑out and pick a quieter room; the large room had comfortable bedding, a coffee machine, a fridge and a microwave. Breakfast isn’t included and is too expensive; the outdoor pool closes early—at 19:30 here versus 23:00 at other Holiday Inns.

The room was spacious and right next to all the shops and eateries, but bugs were crawling all over the floor near the pool, the shower squealed, and the breakfast area could use more searing.

Melissa was friendly at check‑in and gave great tips on what to do in Portland, and the rooms stayed very clean, but the hallways to the rooms needed better vacuuming.
