Located in the charming Lake District village of Coniston, The Crown Inn is within 0.5 miles of Coniston Water. This traditional inn features bright rooms with high-quality mattresses, satellite TV, and private bathrooms with baths or showers. The pub serves classic British dishes, including homemade pies, and offers full English breakfasts made with local produce. The Coniston Old Man fell is a mile away, offering scenic views and hill walks.

Central in Coniston. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast options good. Excellent walking base. Our room smelt slightly damp initially. we got used to it. Not too big a deal. The windows were open .There were humidifiers in the room and, bizarrely, a cardboard box for a humidifier left outside the room. It was odd, because we were comfortable, but the place felt a bit unloved. Piped music was a bit intrusive, and the hifi quality was tinny and annoying. I would have preferred it to not be there. I think maybe it's just Lake District tourist farming basically and I know I was a tourist, the place was fine

The Lakeland Inn was charming and the staff were very welcoming, located in a lovely village. The bar was great and the food was good, but the room could use a refurbishment; the bed itself was lovely.
