The food was tasty, filling, the dining area was charming, and the staff were very accommodating to my daughter’s vegan needs, providing suitable meals. The second‑floor room made it easy to carry a trolley, but a heavier suitcase was a bit more of a struggle.

“Friendly, family run inn”

The location was spot‑on for us. Check‑in staff were warm and gave plenty of useful info about the stay. The room was well equipped and breakfast was top quality.

The Cottage Cakes were mouth‑watering! The main house had a lovely rustic feel with original woodwork and hardware, and parking was easy to find. Leaving the back door of the main house unlocked at night meant an extra lock or bolt on the inside would have boosted our sense of security.
