5 Elements Hotel

The hotel is beautiful and well‑located for anyone wanting to stay in the city centre. Many tours and lovely beaches are on the peninsula near the fishing village Nhon Ly, and the room itself was clean. The balcony, however, is very small.

The location was good. The room I was assigned differed from what I had booked on Booking: the booked room had a terrace, but the one they told me was confirmed by Booking had none. One window was closed, facing the stairs, and was constantly blocked by a blind. They also said Visa cards were accepted, yet I was asked to pay in cash. I stayed three nights anyway because I had booked a tour that day and didn’t have time to deal with it. The walls were dirty with black stains everywhere. The bed consisted of two single mattresses, and the seam of the mattress hit my back; the bedding was clearly not made for comfortable nights. I find this cavalier approach by the managers unacceptable. After this issue, the staff—specifically the manager and her daughter—behaved poorly, not even greeting me, let alone offering a smile, which is apparently optional. When we returned from outside, they were absent for the whole day. I’m not used to this kind of behaviour from Vietnamese hosts.

The owners were enthusiastic and helpful, and the location was beautiful.

“Basic stay if you solo travel to Quy Nhon”

The location was 10/10, everything was within walking distance, the bed was comfy, and towels and the bathroom were clean. The TV didn’t work, but that didn’t matter to me anyway.
