This hotel is excellent in a good location. The room was very comfortable, the food was excellent, and the staff were highly professional.

The location by the river is great, and there is ample on‑site parking. The upgraded room featured a fabulous four‑poster bed, and the staff were friendly. Dinner was a bit disappointing: the roast beef and roast pork were lukewarm and we struggled to cut them with blunt cutlery. We mentioned this at the time but received no response.

I had stayed here before and found it very clean, with a nice bar and attached restaurant. I had to be moved to another room because the TV wasn’t working; the old TVs had no HDMI ports and needed replacing.
