The building should be attractive but it lacks attention to detail, sitting in a centre that’s actually in a tiny village; in our room the sink never gave hot water, every lamp in the lounge was broken and taped together, and breakfast offered nothing warm—just a few low‑quality packaged brioches, which might pass for a three‑star hotel but nothing sweet.

We spent two flawless days at Hotel Post; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food offered great value. Even though we arrived a bit later for dinner, the service remained excellent, making it the ideal spot for our trip to Castle Hohenzollern.

The reception was very warm and the owner took great care of us. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was hearty and varied. Free parking on site was a plus. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, which was good quality and very affordable. The road that cuts through the village is very busy, so it’s better to ask for a room that doesn’t face the street.
