The hotel features spacious rooms with private balconies, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Three heated pools, a kids' club, gym, and Shakti Spa are among its standout amenities, with multiple restaurants and bars serving Mexican and international cuisine.

The beach‑side restaurant makes the stay worthwhile, but the staff are overly pushy—right when you arrive they try to sell you a membership, then lie and change their attitude if you say no, ignoring you entirely. The buffet food is bad and repetitive, which disappointed my high expectations. I preferred the cheaper sibling hotel, Hacienda Buenaventura.

The place was spotless, the food was good, the staff friendly, and it had just been remodeled.

The staff’s excellent service, especially at reception, really showed they went the extra mile to solve any issue, and the food was superb, though they could add snack zones near the pools.
