“Excellent position close to the Estuary.”
Excellent position, very comfortable, and we had the entire floor to ourselves. Tim is a great host and everything was hassle‑free. No complaints.

Breakfasts were fine, and the place was peaceful.
“Without the VAT, the stay would have been pleasant and fair value. Estuary setting is great.”
The host was charming and accommodating. The setting was splendid, and the house was clean and tidy with all expected features like coffee and soaps. However, the VAT of almost £100 for five days was not shown in the initial price. We received five emails, including one that displayed the final price, which I didn’t open because I only looked at two of the other messages. We either come or not, so we didn’t need three reminders; normally only one is sent. A writing table would have helped, and the armchairs are very low. Also, the bed is 5' and we’re used to 6'.

The common area had a TV. The room we stayed in had a lovely outdoor space but no river view. The breakfast was English, not intercontinental.
