I made friendships on the spot and the reception, especially Vitória, helped me with check‑in, but the bed felt a bit tight.

Basic hostel, works fine, close to the beach access. They run tours, which is a plus. It's a bit far from the town center, but that depends on what you’re doing on the island.

The place is right in the middle, close to the ferry, so getting to the center and the southern part of the island is easy. Just remember there’s no parking – it’s a cul‑de‑sac and you might only snag a spot in front if you’re lucky, otherwise you’ll need to find a nearby spot.
