“Magnifique chambre !”

The hotel’s proximity and my superb room were positives. The reception staff repeatedly misunderstood me, breakfast was cold and extremely limited, with no options for foreigners. I had 7 panties and 7 pairs of socks stolen while waiting to use the dryer, which was already occupied and I was in my room.

“Clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff, but communication was difficult due to the language barrier.”

The rooms were tidy and comfy, and the staff helped set up our activities, but nobody at reception spoke English, so talking was tough, and the area outside the room looked messy.

The location is fine. Everything else was bad: I was charged an extra 3 % for paying by credit card, a fee not advertised until I reached the front desk; the room was dirty, the sheets were soiled, the elevator was filthy, I avoided breakfast because it was disgusting, the bed was as hard as a board, and there were so many thermostats that you can’t tell which one works.
