“Nice, but not a lot for children to do.”

Loved the dinner & bfast. Loved the room well stocked with all we need. Would have liked a bath but other than that, it was great. Children cant access the pool. Was the reason we initially booked only to be find children under 16 arent able to access so makes it less fun for them and less to do with them around the hotel. Still enjoyed it. Been several times without kids and will go back with kids. Things to do with them closeby

“Sold as a "luxury hotel" its okay its a bit tired and dated and cleanliness not up to scratch”

The view was nice, but the rooms and corridors looked dated and the room was dirty—previous guests’ receipts were found under the table, showing it wasn’t well kept.

The bed was fine, but the floorboards squeaked everywhere. We booked in February for a wedding nearby and asked for early check‑in, but they said it would cost more. We were already paying almost £200 for a few hours in a bed, and they told us we’d arrive late. We booked online, received a text at 10 o’clock asking us to confirm our arrival, and if we didn’t, they would cancel the booking.

The room was comfy and the food lovely. The spot overlooks a golf course, and I enjoyed a pre‑dinner drink on the terrace in the afternoon.

I loved it the second time, with fantastic staff, hotel spa, and golf.
