“Déception”

Despite the charm of the cottage and the spacious surroundings, our stay was disappointing: we arrived with no pre‑arrival instructions or on‑site check‑in guidance, no one was there to greet us, and the address provided was incorrect. The owner was unfriendly and hard to reach on the day of arrival. Moreover, for a cottage, the service was lacking: the beds weren’t ready (we had to put on sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases ourselves), there weren’t enough linens for everyone, and the fridge was left open when we arrived. I would not recommend this place.

“Pas de piscine malgré l'annonce”

We had booked a cottage with a pool, but ended up with the staff’s accommodation instead—no pool at all, which left our children very disappointed.

The pool was closed, which was a huge let‑down because we had chosen our stay specifically for it.

“1 nacht verblijf”

The location was gorgeous and the garden was lovely, great for the kids to play in. However, the price didn’t match the facilities: there was no hot water, no knives for cooking, and the breakfast was expensive for what it offered. The bed creaked loudly and the mattress was too thin, the internet kept dropping, and to top it off, the booking seemed to have gone wrong and we suddenly received a bill 100 euros higher than what we had already paid.
